Makinz Sports Promotions Limited is a registered sports company with the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) and affiliated to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) through the Abuja Football Association.
We focus on intensive athletic program in sports for the development of all participants. We are committed to the development of young people of all abilities in a variety of sporting activities. Our activities
also aids participants personal development in areas of self-confidence, good attitude, discipline, team work and application to cope with win and loss. In addition, Makinz also organize annual United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, UAE, Canada and America sports trip. We are also into construction and renovation of sports facilities, organization of sports meet, establishment of sports academy in schools such as football academy, basketball club, organization of football camp, basketball camp, etc.
Our football academy is the best in the Federal Capital Territory and Nigeria at large. We run a standard United Kingdom training plan. Makinz Football Academy delivers successful football programs, focused on preparing players to perform at the highest level. At Makinz, we don’t play football, we play our culture: TIKI-taka. All our training sessions are designed to develop a thorough understanding of a specific principle of play and no detail is left behind. Our regular theory and analysis session makes us the best.
Furthermore, we strongly belief that sport is a source of health and well-being. It contributes significantly to the creation of healthy habits and improves the quality of life of those who practice it; this sport also works like excellent instrument to promote a more inclusive society and to fight against intolerance, racism, and violence.
Some of the programs organized by Makinz Sports Promotions LTD are Makinz Football Academy Trials, Annual December Football School, Easter Sports Tournament and Tours, Online Football Clinic, Makinz Invitational Football Tourney and many more.
We also have one of our players (Divine Kanu) at the FCV International Football Academy, Stamford United Kingdom and other players have gone for Trials locally and internationally.

HISTORY
Makinz Football Academy is a brainchild of Makinz Sports Promotions Ltd that was born on 18 December 2018. However, Makinz Football Academy started in September 2018 with 10 boys and 2 coaches. The academy participated in a football competition at Maitama Abuja Nigeria where they lost at the semifinals. The boys were disbanded immediately after the competition with gifts and cash prizes.
In December 2019, Makinz Sports Promotions Ltd organized the maiden edition of the “DECEMBER FOOTBALL SCHOOL” where we had over 45 boys from all over the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria. It was a 2weeks football training and all participants were certified at the end program.
During the Covid-19 total lockdown in 2020, Akinboni Koleola Benson rejuvenated the Makinz Football Academy with one player, Divine Kanu in April 2020 at the Iron Bridge Training Ground, Federal Housing Authority, Lugbe Abuja. At the end of every training session, boys would approach him and ask to join because they love the training plan. So, the training that started with one player moved to forty five players.
The academy won her first official match by 2 goals to 1 against Golden Stars Football Club on 5 July 2020. Makinz Football Academy went ahead to play a total of 11 matches, won 6, draw 1 and lost 4.
On 11 October 2020, Makinz Football Academy opened her camp at
the Amazonia Hotel, Lugbe Abuja with 3 players: Daniel Awokunle, Jeremiah Bawa and Daniel Usman. The camp that started with 3 players now has more than 15players. Divine Kanu, the pioneer player of the academy left for the FCV International Football Academy, Stamford United Kingdom on 10 October 2020 to continue his football career. Some skillful players in the academy have also been sent on trials locally and internationally.
The academy came 2nd at the maiden edition of Makinz Invitational Football Tourney. Makinz Football Academy now has both regular and camp players.

OUR MISSION
Train participants with a well stimulating United Kingdom training plan and present them to the world through our various platforms. We aim to assist aspiring players in their development and to help them becoming full-fledged players. Our programs are tailored to meet all the requirements of an elite environment and we offer a clear pathway to professional football.
VISION STATEMENT
In the next 5 years, we would play either the NLO, NNL or NPFL and present players for the Nigerian national U-15, U-17, U-20 and Super Eagles. Our players would be sold to clubs locally and internationally.
EDUCATION
Makinz Football Academy aims to develop well-rounded players. We encourage our players to seek excellence in both football and academics and we provide the perfect environment for them to reach those goals.
